The science behind the therapy
What is Biofield Tuning?
Developed by researcher Eileen Day McKusick, Biofield Tuning is a non-invasive sound therapy that uses specially calibrated tuning forks to interact with the body's electrical system — including brainwaves, nerve impulses, heart rhythms, and the surrounding biofield, the electromagnetic field that envelops the physical body.
Rather than diagnosing or treating, the focus is pure support. Coherent sound vibrations are introduced to help release areas of dissonance, encourage nervous system regulation, and restore a natural sense of balance, resilience, and flow.
What happens in a session?
You rest fully clothed on a treatment table while I activate a tuning fork and gently scan your biofield from a distance. I listen for areas of resistance or turbulence — subtle shifts in tone and vibration that reveal where the body may be holding tension.
When I detect a turbulent area, I hold the fork steady and allow your body to respond to its coherent vibration. As dissonance softens, physical or emotional tension may release naturally and gently.
